Countryside Estate

According to property records, this 4,200-square-foot brick mid-century home in Georgia was built in 1962. The owners operated a local department store that was considered by many to be the heartbeat of the community. The family closed the store in the 1980s and retired. Several clues inside hint at the family’s once-affluent lifestyle. Sadly, the husband died of a heart attack in 1995 and his wife decided to move to be closer to family in 2010. She passed away several years ago and left the house to their daughter who has been working to find a use for the property.
