I recently spent a few hours at the flooded Hubbard Mine with a two-man news crew from the local CBS news station. My previous visit to this interesting mine…
Frank, Congrats on being on the news. You’re surely an expert in the field
of mine exploration. One worry I have when it comes to flooded tunnels is
the unseen vertical shaft or winze. Is that why you were standing on the
ore cart tracks? How can you tell is there is an underwater winze, false
floors, etc.?
Great video and if you go back to your last video you told me you were
visiting a flooded mine and I asked you if it was this one! Lol Only reason
being I just watched your two videos on it a few weeks ago. Another
interesting fact in this one is what you shared on the cart tracks ,always
learn something new and interesting on your videos, thanks so much for all
of your time and effort you and put unto these for us!
again a nice vid frank!,A question,do you have any map or info before you
enter/exploring an abandoned mine?to have an idea how far or deep the mine
is?or are you just explore it without any knowledge?an you keep on
exploring new mines so you know everytime where to look, cruising the miles
together!;) thx
Take the news crew to the Horton Mine and tell them that there is a really
interesting story there in the back of the mine. Just keep going to the
back there, no reason to be afraid.
stop the press. here comes frank.
Awesome Frank! You’re going to be on the news – that’s really something.
I still want to do battle with the spooks at the Horton tunnel .
Looks like a scene out of “Aliens”
Well done as usual Frank! Still believe you could make an interesting
History Channel documentary! Keep it up.
The water creates a very pronounced echo.

Looks like a typical Oregon mine! Very cool that you got to work with the
news crew. Awesome video as always!
If there’s a zombie apocalypse, you could just go in a mine and be set!
Loved the vid as usual.
Hehe
