not sure what part of TN you’re in, but down this end, in Bedford,
Marshall, and Lincoln counties, we get quiet a few houses, that are empty,
and stay that way, because the owner is in a nursing home, and the banks
won’t let anything be done, until they pass, then the family is allowed to
have access, and they try to sell them, looking as bad as this one or
worse. it’s a shame. they could at least allow family to live in it, or
rent it out, until the owner passes, and keep the houses from rotting. very
interesting house though.
Nice find. And btw they don’t have to have stuff in them. :)
Nice explore . True about those vines , my garage is totally covered since
70s .
Good job on the vid. Appreciate your relaxed style including commentary.
Your right it’s was once a nice house. Hate to see it in such bad shape. By
the way you have a nice voice. Your easy on the ear.
The sliding doors on the 2nd floor are interesting. My mom always called
doors like that “Mother-in-Law doors”. Hey……. I always thought my mom
LIKED my grandma! Lol! Great video!
Yeah that house has some major structural issues. with the walls buckling
like that. And the vines getting in Not good
My guess: an older house that’s had a lot of DIY alterations. Maybe it
worked for the residents but I think the house is too strange and
unattractive inside for most for most people and that it wouldn’t find a
buyer even without water damage. Looks like this house is a goner and will
continue to deteriorate until something has to be done. Maybe someone will
buy the property for the lot and put up a new place.
Foreclosure perhaps??
Whoever did that add on up stairs sure did a poor job of it. Why would you
put a patio door up there with no patio? Someone’s kid is going to fall
out that door. I think it could be saved but they better get on it really
fast.
